Isn't it fantastic when you look back through somebodies gallery, and see how they have progressed?

I feel like I'm doing the opposite lately, its bonkers. I'm trying to get a consistent style (which artist isn't I suppose) but well, its a bit tough lets say with what little time I have to myself.

Somebody said they had found a scene from 'The Office' that made them think of me. Upon hearing which scene it was, I had to laugh, it summed me up entirely.

Now I can't find the link for the scene, I can't remember what episode it was but it went something like:

The character Dawn was telling how she is actually an illustrator, and told people she was an illustrator that did some receptionist work to get extra money, but then later on realised that she'd be so knackered after work that she could not do any illustration... now she just tells people she is a receptionist.

That's how things are going for me ;)

awww, sarah, *pets* you're still a wonderful artist no matter what! Your art has evolved and progressed and it's become one beautiful piece after another, don't ever let yourself be convinced of otherwise. Just keep on believing in yourself and never give up.

Although, that little scene is pretty funny.
Try not to worry too much. Your art is fantastic! I always find worrying about trying to produce more art or different art, or whatever I don't "feel" like doing, and it usually doesn't work out. I'm often busy a lot, too; I think trying some new stuff to do artistically can work wonders. (Ex: try drawing still life/photographs if you are used to digital colouring.) :)
I hope things start going better for you soon!!

The very least you can do in your life is to figure out
what you hope for. And the most you can do is live inside that hope.
Not admire it from a distance but live right in it, under its roof.
Hey amiga! No fears okay? You're art is fantastic and always has been. You're prolly just not feeling that spark of creativity as much. Doesn't mean you're art isn't progressing though. ;D. Keep at it Sarah. It'll be a much darker place in the world if you start to doubt your own true talent. ;D. You will always have an admirer in me and you will ALWAYS be a skill level that I will challenge myself to attain. *HUGS* :glomp:
