Well had another doctors trip today to see what the verdict on my anaemia is. Im off to see gastro specialists in a month or so's time to see why I cant absorb iron. About 3/4 months time then i will be starting my iron injections once a month and possibly for the rest of my life.

So at least something is finally happening and Im understanding my screwed up body a bit more :p

Back to colouring! :D

Truth be told I'm lying
unfortunately you will get used to regular injections, I know I have had to as im missing three quarters of the cartilage in my left knee and I have to inject Novocain into the fluid sac to dull the pain at regular intervals.

It sucks but thats the way it is, LOL and at least you are not gona have so large a needle used on you.

Eek. I'm guessing a spinach diet wouldn't help. :) Anyway, I hope you can get some better info on this.

good to hear something's been figured out! i got a mild form of ferrous anemia as well, so sometimes my red cell count goes down a little below normal. it is one among many things that makes me down and listless sometimes.

i've been given iron supplements before, but i find that regular exercise and a careful diet works better than anything, but i guess only in my case.

hope everything turns out ok!
aye, its not very nice. But then Im not that bothered about it, the way I see things are, if somethings going to happen, then it will. Im awfully annoying like that :p

Yeah injections dont really bother me, I must admit so I'm not too worried about it. I just know that the serum they inject is uncomfortable because its so thick ;)

And ouch! That sounds painful, I can imagine actually how annoying that is. My father fucked up his cartliges in both knees playing football, he now has half metal kneecaps. But to inject yourself to ease that pain is something else, you could become totally dependant on that. But crikey, hope that somewhat eases off for you!

Ahh. Yeah, I hate it when the bod's being a dork. I have Lupus, so my immune system tends to attack my kidneys. :P
